The Senior Director of Discipleship is responsible for discipleship across all age groups, from cradle to grave. Specifically, they will oversee our Kids’ Ministry, Student Ministry, Special Needs Ministry, New Here & Young Adult Ministries, and Adult Discipleship by setting the vision and direction for all these ministry areas as it aligns with the vision and strategic planning of the larger church. This person will ensure coordination among them. This is a Leadership Team position that represents and makes connections for spiritual formation across other ministry areas and multiple campuses. This role will be a blend of Christian Education, vision casting and strategic planning, supervisory responsibility, and a commitment to alignment and producing consistent results.

The Assistant Director of Student Ministries gets to make God real for students by connecting faith to the questions they’re asking in the most formative years of their lives. Our ministry spans 5th through 12th grade and is extended by our support of college students while they are away.

The Administrative Specialist for Worship & the Arts serves as a bridge between people and our systems, ensuring that the worship, special services, ministry, and events we offer use people’s best gifts to God’s glory. 

This position serves St. Luke’s United Methodist Church to lead and support the current software application technologies and integration of new software. This role will work to improve current ministry areas process, tools, and technology. The goal is to create an environment in which the church staff and volunteers can efficiently and effectively serve the congregation and the ministries.

The Midtown Kids Ministry Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all families with children (birth-4th grade) at the St. Luke’s Midtown Campus. They will build, empower, and oversee the Kids Ministry volunteer team that make Kids Ministry programming happen on Sunday mornings and throughout the week, ensuring that every family that comes to St. Luke’s Midtown feels welcome and known. This role is a critical part of the St. Luke’s Kids staff team and is key in keeping programming aligned and implementing strategy for reaching and discipling families across campuses. This position includes Sundays (weekly) and will regularly include some evenings and weekends as necessary.

A Childcare Caregiver’s primary responsibility is to provide direct care for children ages birth and up. A Caregiver welcomes each family and their children in a cheerful manner, and cares for and engages with children while their parents volunteer or attend classes, small groups, activities, or other events at the church. Childcare Caregivers ensure that children have the most positive experience possible while in the church’s care. Childcare is one of the most valuable programs in the church as it allows parents with young children to grow or live out their faith in various learning or serving opportunities within St. Luke’s.
